The Need for Carrier Compliance

At Blakeman Transportation, we take great pride in the carriers we use. While our competitors may create risks by the carriers they use, Blakeman likes to manage the risks before they happen. This is why all of the carriers we use have to go through a detailed process when getting set up with us. Before a carrier is set up, we examine their safety scores, insurance, authority history, freight guard history and performance. It takes more time to perform such a rigorous examination, but we feel it is absolutely essential if we want to exceed our customers’ expectations. After our carriers are set up, our examination does not end. We continually monitor all of the carriers. We receive government reports daily that notify us of any changes that may have occurred with the carriers in regards to insurance requirements, safety issues and solvency. At Blakeman, we are confident in the carriers that are set up with us because we know exactly what type of carrier they are. They are customer oriented, just like we are.

Rangers beat the Yankees!

Not only did the Texas Rangers beat the New York Yankees, but one of our great employees, Elias (aka Jr.), is a die-hard fan of the Yankees. He swore up and down that there was no way the Rangers would win and if they did, he would even where their jersey for a day.

Well, obviously the Rangers won and with great pleasure, we introduce to the world for the first time, Jr. sporting a Texas Rangers jersey!

Thanks goes out to the Texas Rangers for letting us see a sight that has never been seen before!
