Blakeman Transportation, Inc is a family owned and operated Transportation Brokerage Company, which began as an asset based company in 1982 providing construction materials for the dynamic growth within the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas Metro-plex.
In March of 1989 BTI applied for and received its ICC license to engage in providing transportation operations as a Freight Broker.
With focus on providing Transportation Services to the Temperature Controlled Food Industry; BTI evolved from providing basic Truck Load and a limited LTL delivery schedule to that of a recognized, trusted provider, of a broad range of Supply Chain Services.
BTI has a long and recognized history of its commitment to improve the status of its Team Members, Shareholders, and Community.
With Corporate initiatives related to this end and financial investment in People and Technology, BTI has enjoyed year after year of growth during the past 30.

BTI’s goal is to develop long term relationships with its Carrier partners, to inspire them to introduce and incorporate the same Corporate Social Responsibility policies within their company no matter how large or small.
We consider ourselves as an extension of the Company we are providing services for, with this driving our actions we expect all of our Carrier/Driver partners to adhere to guidelines to that end.
- Neat in appearance at all times
- Courteous with customers and warehouse personnel
- The use of profanity is strictly prohibited
- Each Driver must show proper photo identification when performing services
Equipment Condition and Specification:
As a proud partner of SmartWay, we are committed to using the most fuel efficient Carriers possible.
Equipment/Carriers used to perform services must meet a compliance high standards; Safety Rating, Insurance, Equipment Condition, and Food Safety Experience are but a factor used to qualify a Carrier.
Blakeman Transportation has found that our involvement with the “Social Media” sites such as Linkedin, facebook, and Twitter has expanded our marketing to improve our industry exposure at a minimal cost.
Adherence to the Law:
All Corporate Policies and Procedures are created and executed under strict adherence to all local, State, and Federal law.
BTI may not be able to control all individual behavior, however, if a situation were to arise that was not only in conflict with its Corporate Policy, but also a violation of law, the matter would be dealt with swiftly and decisively.
