"One of the best groups of brokers, they are doing things differently. They try to keep things simple so you can be busy doing other things. We never have trouble getting paid from them like some other reviews state. I’m not as social as Chris (our driver) but I think they figured that out because he likes voice contact and I don’t – unless Chris is busy and I have to. Their rates are what keeps drivers on the road and maintain their companies. I think what makes them so different is they don’t try to live the Hollywood life; they’re more down to earth. They really do try to meet the drivers’ needs above theirs. Some drivers can be a tad bit too mean or bossy and you have to have a lot of patience with those, but Blakeman does a great job at handling all of the different types of people they do business with.
I gave five stars because they stand out above the others. Had we known the truth about them, we would have started our own authority sooner and now that we are, we don’t regret it – just from how much they help and try. I think the hardest part is getting used to the different employees you have to speak with across different departments. For example, the accounting is separate from the brokers. Other than getting used to speaking to multiple people, it’s not hard.
If I was to suggest one thing to other drivers, it would be for them to become an owner/operator; don’t procrastinate and keep putting your dreams on hold. With brokers like Blakeman that have your back, you don’t have to worry. There are some you have to watch out for but not with Blakeman. Shippers would be crazy not to work with them because they’re very much involved and dedicated to the drivers and their companies."

For the last few months, I have been working with Bryan Webster and Jenny Keys for multi-stop loads out of our plant in Caldwell, ID. These loads deliver to UT and final in AZ. It does not matter if I have one stop or 4 stops for them to get delivered, once they have a load in hand, I do not worry about anything. I know the loading appointments are made and the delivery appointments as well. Should we have a tiny hiccup, this is trucking, I am notified by email. This is turning into one of the Best Matches for a carrier, for pool loads, that I can remember for at least the last 2 years.
