I just wanted to let you know that I think you have an outstanding employee with Nadia. I have dealt with her for several years now, and no matter the differences of opinions, she is always professional, courteous, and to the point yet diplomatic. She would probably make a great politician 😊. I’m sure you get lots of complaints so here is a compliment. With the changing times occurring it is still nice to know that I have a great carrier to handle our orders. Your drivers, customer service, and office personnel are always helpful and a pleasure to work with.

For the last few months, I have been working with Bryan Webster and Jenny Keys for multi-stop loads out of our plant in Caldwell, ID. These loads deliver to UT and final in AZ. It does not matter if I have one stop or 4 stops for them to get delivered, once they have a load in hand, I do not worry about anything. I know the loading appointments are made and the delivery appointments as well. Should we have a tiny hiccup, this is trucking, I am notified by email. This is turning into one of the Best Matches for a carrier, for pool loads, that I can remember for at least the last 2 years.

I have had more than my share of headaches this week with orders – not just LTL, but some others as well. We had to short one of our big customers, Dunkin Donuts, with an order that their truck always picks up on Thursday (today). Because of that, we had to scramble and find a team that could take product to them in Groveland, Florida for Saturday delivery. Because the cost of that truck was all on us, I pulled from you all an order I had for US Foods in Port Orange, FL to ride with it and help defer my cost. Since the order could not ship until late Friday (waiting on a release), I had to request a team to come in and then deliver Groveland late Saturday and wait until Monday to deliver Port Orange. Not a pretty load!
On top of all of that, I had to get Robert King to cancel the delivery appointment with US Foods and Veronica Smith changed up my orders to account for losing the 1 order. And then…just about an hour ago I had to ask if they could take it back, as I didn’t think the truckload carrier would find a truck for me with team drivers that would wait until Monday to final out the load. Veronica checked to see if there was still room on the outbound, plus needed to check to see if my truck coming in tomorrow for 7 pallets could also get the other 8 pallets I was dumping back on her. She said she would call me back, and actually got back to me more quickly that I thought would happen, with an email with a subject line: I WILL MAKE IT WORK
I just love that about you all – your team always seems to make it work for me. I know we have ups and downs, but I feel so fortunate to be able to work with Veronica – she takes excellent care of my needs and is always most cheerful and accommodating and never a complaint! And I do work a small amount with Robert and also with Bryan Gager. All just super representatives for Blakeman.
I realize that was quite a long note to just tell you that, but wanted you to get the “gist” of the story. We’re approaching summer, and that dang hot, sticky weather, so I know we’ll have some snags here and there. But all in all, you all are the best in my book!
